I’m a Scripture-verse collector and therefore an index card possessor. Now that we’ve begun Scripture Memory together, I thought I’d share my prized collection with you. Surely no one on Antiques Roadshow could place on the appraiser’s table anything more valuable than these verses are to me!
This collection is very much under construction. I’ll be adding verses as I have time and as I write.

I have two that I really felt like it was God leading me to the verse. The first: “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in it’s various forms.” 1Peter 4:10 This one was a verse that confirmed we were going the right way to become foster parents, I was lead to it again a year later when we asked a young pregnant girl to move in with us. Though that didn’t work out, it reminded of the verse again and it’s become one of my favorites.
#2 “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if you do not give up.” Galatians 6:9–I was shown this one in a blog from a homeschool mom. It was during a rough time when I wasn’t sure if HS was still our path. This showed me that in fact it was our path and if I didn’t give up, I will see the rewards from my efforts! I had this made into vinyl letters so that I see it every time I come in the front door.
These are great. Thanks! I added them to the collection 🙂 I love how you shared not just the verses, but how they were particularly meaningful to you.
