I am faced with the decision to combine softball with pursuing God or quitting the sport I love. Reading these verses allowed me to understand that yes I have to take into account what other say, but my ultimate decision should be what God lays on my heart! this hasn’t been the easiest task to handle, but these verses sure did help a lot. Thank you for sharing!❤️

This sounds like such a difficult decision! I love the verse in James that says we can ask God when we need wisdom and He will give it generously. It can be so hard to tune into His voice rather than the voices of those around us, but I love how you are seeking Him and His Word! I will pray for you as you seek His will!
